Welcome to Ron Cohen VAS. I am proud of the firm I founded in 2022, which is the only RICS regulated practice in Israel. For the first time in the history of the Israeli real estate investment industry, international and local investors and investment managers have access to high quality RICS Red Book valuations for Israeli real estate assets.
As a member of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) Tangible Assets Board, I felt that valuations compliant with the Red Book and International Valuation Standards should be available in Israel. Which is why I founded Ron Cohen VAS after almost 20 years of experience in Israeli real estate valuation, ten of these dedicated to the public service as District Valuer for the North.

Ron Cohen VAS provide independent advice based on detailed market knowledge and understanding. We value properties for purposes including financial reporting, expert witness, acquisitions and disposals, development viability, tax and statutory. Accuracy and quality are reinforced through our procedures, with changes in market conditions and sentiment constantly monitored.
We developed the Israel Real Estate Index, which is freely available here. This is the only commercial real estate index in Israel. It has been built with the aid of academics at the University of Reading in the UK and is fully comparable to the leading direct property indices that are produced globally.
